Come Wander into Weird Nevada

Weird Nevada wonders await all over the Silver State. In Downtown Las Vegas alone, you can museum-hop between displays on the world’s most cursed artifacts, atomic bomb tests, murderous mafiosos, and retired neon signs. Within an hour’s drive, you can feast your eyes on a mom-and-pop coffin shop or the world’s rarest fish, swimming in a pool that belches tidal waves when Japan gets an earthquake.

Further afield, you can road trip to an artistic playground where the canvases are cars sticking out of the ground, a full-on “micronation” with anti-walrus laws and its own space force, or a motel filled with more clown art and figurines than you can shake a red foam nose at. If you’re ready to get off the beaten path—and onto a truly offbeat path—there’s no better place than here in what we proudly call Weird Nevada.
